Husorkestret fra "The Muppet Show" dukker snart op i sin egen serie

Serien handler om indspilningen af den sagnomspundne gruppes første album nogensinde!

Den måtte jo næsten dukke op: En "The Muppet Show"-spin-off om showets legendariske husorkester, The Electric Mayhem Band, som siden 1975 har underholdt alverdens "Muppets"-fans.

Disney har i hvert fald bestilt en kommende Disney+-serie med titlen "The Muppets Mayhem" om den farverige gruppe, der består af karismatiske dukker som trommeslageren Animal, sangeren og keyboardspilleren Dr. Teeth, bassisten Floyd Pepper og guitaristen Janice samt ikke mindst saxofonisten Zoot og trompetisten Lips.

Serien handler om bandets forsøg på at indspille dets første album nogensinde, og til at hjælpe sig har dukke-musikerne Lilly Singh ("Dollface") i rollen som gruppens manager, Nora.

Det vides endnu ikke, hvornår "The Muppets Mayhem" rammer Disney+, men vi forventer helt klart en totaloplevelse i stil med "The Beatles: Get Back"!
